Samantha Khoo graduated with Bachelor of Laws from University of London (LLB). She obtained the Certificate in Legal Practice from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia in the year of 2015 and was later called to the Malaysian Bar in 2016.

Prior to joining Tam Yuen Hung & Co., Samantha Khoo had worked at Messrs. Naqiz & Partners under the Real Estate and Property Group. Subsequently, she had joined Messrs. Goh Keng Tat & Co. for a portfolio of real estate and litigation/dispute resolution.

Property And Real Estate Law

Samantha Khoo regularly advises land owners, purchasers, body corporates and other entities in respect of the law in relation to real estate practices and have negotiated and participated on numerous types of real estate activity. She is also actively engaged by local and foreign clients in relation to law in acquisition of real properties in Malaysia, differences in residential and commercial properties, imposition of stamp duty, real property gains tax as well as matters pertaining to lease and tenancy agreements.

Banking And Finance Law

Besides that, Samantha Khoo has also attended to both conventional and Islamic banking transactions in a full range of financial advisory and documentation services from preparation of loan documentations to disbursements of loan facility.

Litigation And Dispute Resolution

In the practice area of litigation/dispute resolution, Samantha Khoo routinely advises individuals and body corporates in wide areas including highly contentious family and divorce matters, employment and labor law disputes, landowner and tenant matters, debt recovery, land disputes and so on.

She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Cantonese.
